Sea week Photo competition

It is The year of the Coast! ..Shutter Bugs….We want to see your best snaps of the Taputeranga Marine Reserve both underwater and on land. Get into your marine reserve and get arty!

Categories are-

1. Student (upto 17)  underwater or above water (land)

2. Pro (prolific and published) underwater or above water

3. Everyone else underwater

4. Everyone else above water

Some rules…

  • There is no restriction on what is photographed as long as it is an aspect of the marine reserve and not doctored too much…cropping is allowed.
  • Photos must have been taken between 1 and 29 Feb
  • Photos must be a minimum of 1.5 mb
  • One entry per person per qualifying category
  • Any photos received may be used by the Friends of the Taputeranga Marine Reserve trust, with photographer credits, for advertising and marketing. (You will still retain IP)
  • Winners will be advised prior to Sea Week and winning photos will be printed and displayed during Sea Week (3-11 March) with the Wellington City Council, Te Papa and other venues TBA.

  • When sending entries please give full name, contact phone number, D.O.B (if entering cat. 1), category entering, and a where what and date of photo.
